1. What is Deal A Day?

Deal A Day offers multiple deals at great prices. Deals start each day at 10:00 am (NZT) ending the following day at 10:00 am. (NZT)

2. Is it free to join? Do I have to join to buy the products?

Yes, joining dealaday.co.nz. is absolutely free. In order to buy products from dealaday.co.nz you do not have to register with us: we offer the flexibility of buying products from our site as a guest user. Alternatively, Facebook members can login and make purchases using their Facebook Account. (Please note, we do not store your Facebook password, you login using the Facebook site.)

3. When I am buying a product where am I buying from?

You are buying products from dealaday.co.nz. In the case of services on offer you are buying directly from the company offering those services.

4. Are all products on offer new?

Yes, all products on offer are new, and come in manufacturer's packing. From time to time we may offer refurbished products, but we will let you know up front. All products carry a manufacturer's warranty. Please read specifications on product pages for warranty information.

5. Will you offer the same product or service in future?

Yes, if inventory allows. If the product or service becomes available again we may be able to offer it at a similar or better price.

6. What time do I get to see the deal of the day?

We offer the Deal of the Day at 10:00am each day, and it remains valid until 10:00 am the next day, when a new deal is posted.

2. Buying

1. I forgot to buy the product or service yesterday, can I still buy it?

No, once the deal has expired, you cannot buy the product or service at the deal price, although the deal may come up again at some point.

2. I missed on the free product you offer from time to time, can I get one please?

All products offered free are limited in quantity and once they are gone we are not able to allocate further units, you have to be quick to grab free deals.

3.Can I get the free product on offer if I am not a registered user?

We may restrict free products to our registered users and Facebook fans. From time to time we may offer free products to guest users at our discretion.

4.Can I buy in Bulk from your site?

No you cannot buy in bulk. We aim to provide equal opportunities for all users to take advantage of these great deals.

3. My Account

1. How do I create a deal a day account?

You will find a "Join us" link on our header on almost every page; simply click and you are ready to become a member. You will need a valid email address, username and password of your choice to get started. Click here to join us now.

2. How does Facebook login work, is it safe to use my Facebook login on dealaday?

Currently we have kept this log in on hold. Many sites are offering Facebook as a platform for users to do away with the need to create multiple accounts. Facebook login is completely safe to access dealaday, and we do not store your Facebook passwords on our servers. Each time you login using your Facebook account you are actually logging in from the Facebook site. Please read the terms of using Facebook your account login for more details. Please note, Facebook is a brand name owned by Facebook and Dealaday is no way connected to Facebook. Deal A Day is simply using the Facebook login platform to facilitate ease of access to our website.

3. I created an account but did not get a confirmation email to activate my account?

Normally, confirmation emails are sent straight away. If nothing turns up please check your junk folder. If you attempt to login your to your account and it comes up not active, a prompt will be displayed asking if you would like an activation email resent. This will be sent to you instantly. If you continue to experience difficulty, please contact us on support@dealaday.co.nz

4. How do I edit my details?

When you click on "My Account" you can view and edit your account details.

5. What is the Summary Section of My Account?

The Summary section of My Account displays details of all purchases you have made. You can also view your dealaday dollars balance and invoice online, or print it for future reference. We are doing our bit to help the environment, and do not send paper invoices with our packages.


4. Customer Support

1. Can I have your 0800 number please?

We do not offer phone support at this point. However you can email us at:  support@dealaday.co.nz and we will endeavour to reply within 24 hours. We recommend you read these FAQ's before sending emailing, as most questions find answers here. You can also use our online contact form to send a message, and someone from our customer support team will come back to you.

2. I have a complaint to make, how do I do that?

Feel free to email us at: support@dealaday.co.nz stating the nature of your complaint and we will call you back to resolve the problem.

5. Shipping & Returns

1. When do you ship my goods?

We consolidate and process all orders after the deal has expired or sold out (whichever is earlier), and not on the day of purchase. We ship goods to reach you within 3 to 5 working days at most. You can expect slight delays if you purchase on a weekend, public holiday or over the Christmas break, but we will ship it to you as soon as we can. Please note that rural deliveries may take a day or two extra.

2. Can I trace my order?

As soon as your order is despatched we will send you an email with a link to check the delivery status of your package. Please note, the status may not appear immediately and may take up to 10 hours to appear online. You can also view your tracking code by going into the My Account section of the website and clicking on the Summary tab.

3. I have a PO Box address; will you ship me goods?

Yes, we can ship goods to PO Box addresses. However we will not deliver to hotel or motel addresses for security reasons.

4. How do you charge shipping cost?

If you buy more than one product we can combine the shipping cost, in which case a slightly higher rate cost will be applied to the calculation. If you buy multiple products, your shipping cost will increase by 25% per unit (up to 5 units). You can check your shipping cost once you load the products to your delivery address. We are currently investigating alternative shipping arrangements in order to reduce costs.

5. What is your returns and refund policy?

If the product is damaged in transit please send us an email immediately and we will send you details on how to obtain a replacement. You can return a product at anytime if it is defective and covered under warranty, (most of our product are). We are not required to provide a refund if you change your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully. If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy. In the first instance send an email to: support@dealaday.co.nz and let us know. Please read the product description carefully, as we may not refund you if you buy a product and decide it is not something you need. Send us an email if you have any queries.


6. Payments

1. What payment options do you offer?

We offer flexible payment options. You can pay by Credit Card, Pago, or Deal A Day Dollars. Whats more, you can redeem your Deal A Day Dollars and top up with other methods of payment. (e.g. If the product price is $150.00 and you have accumulated DAD$50 you can pay $100 by credit card, internet banking or Pago and $50 by deal a day dollars.)

2.What is Pago?

Pago is an alternative mode of payment offered by dealaday.co.nz. It is is a virtual wallet" that you can transfer money to from any NZ bank account using Internet Banking. Once you top up your wallet, you can use it to buy products on dealaday.co.nz. To use Pago all you need is a mobile phone or email address and a New Zealand bank account. Yes we have a privacy policy, and you can read it here. We understand your personal privacy is paramount; hence we do not pass your information to any third party without your consent.
